She studied Communication Sciences & Disorders, as well as Exceptional Education at James Madison University (Go Dukes!). There, she received her Autism Certificate, a credential offered by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards. She completed RPM practitioner training in 2016 and became a certified  S2C Practitioner in 2022.

Courtney Veerman

Meet Courtney- Our new practitioner! Known for her warmth, intuition, and deep empathy, Courtney builds strong, trusting connections with her clients and is passionate about helping each one find their voice.

Courtney’s journey into the world of Spelling to Communicate began with her son, William. Encouraged by her best friend of 45 years, she made the two-hour drive to Northern Virginia for what would become a life-changing session at Growing Kid's Therapy Center. Watching William reveal his inner world through spelling was a powerful turning point, inspiring Courtney to become a certified S2C Practitioner through I-ASC.
